Confirmed: Taraustralis heads to #OpenESTEC

Confirmed: Taraustralis heads to Noordwijk, the Netherlands on October 8th, 2017.

Each year, the European Space Agency (ESA) opens its doors to the general public for a day of space, science and behind the scenes.

Eight astronauts will be in attendance to answer all your questions about what it’s like to be in space.  Also, a number of lecturers will be held including, the Rosetta mission’s Matt Taylor.

Tours of the ESTEC Laboratory Corridor will be available .where you can see the Hypergravity Centrifuge. This is the ESA’s Large Diameter Centrifuge which spins behind bulletproof glass to produce extreme gravity levels for scientific experiments.
